The Locust's Manor & Doctor Nowhere

The game credits Doctor Nowhere for its characters. This page shows which lobby monster came from which of his videos, and which parts of those videos the game does not use.

Short answer: yes, the monsters are his

The Roblox listing for this experience says, in its own words: “All characters are original creations of Doctor Nowhere”. That sentence is the whole attribution — it sits under the opening description of the game, next to the Halloween update list, and it was still there when the description was re-read on 2026-10-24. Everything below follows from that line plus what the lobby and dated recordings actually show.

What it does not mean: that the videos are a manual for the game. The videos run on television screens and bedrooms; the game runs on keys, levers, generators and closets. Read the videos for the design, and the in-game HUD for the rules.

Three names, three sources

Which lobby monster comes from which video

The create-lobby screen in a 2026-09-06 recording shows a MONSTER dropdown with THE LOCUST selected and THE BOILED ONE and THE GUILT visible underneath it.

THE LOCUST

The Locust

Source video

T.O.E. (TOE1, TOE2, TOE3) and SMILEHOOD - CONCEPTION

The fan wiki for his creatures lists The Locust, also called The Thumper, as the antagonist of the T.O.E. videos and of SMILEHOOD. The same page describes a pitch-black, roughly 13-foot humanoid that reaches out of a screen and leaves the victim's body untouched.

In this game

The create-lobby screen had it selected in both 2026-09-06 and 2026-10-17 recordings, and the death screen names it in the Manor, Backrooms, Pool Rooms and The End runs checked here. The Forest run analysed for this site was played against The Guilt instead.

THE BOILED ONE

The Boiled One

THE BOILED ONE PHENOMENON (with the later plush advert)

Both videos sit on the artist's own channel, which is the strongest first-party link on this page: the thumbnail name, the character name and the channel all match.

In this game

Listed in the lobby monster picker alongside the Locust and the Guilt. No recording checked here plays a full round against it, so how it behaves in this game is not described on this site.

THE GUILT

The Guilt

Source video

the boy and the bath

The creature wiki dates that video to 30 March 2024 and describes an approximately 11-foot figure with a flattened head and roots growing out of its throat.

In this game

The third option in the lobby monster picker. A 2026-09-08 Forest run played against it: it patrolled the woods, hunted after a failed generator repair, and the death screen read THE GUILT.

What the videos do not tell you about a round

Three things that change how you use the source material.

Every character is a costume

The same creature can look different between videos. The Locust is a plain black silhouette in T.O.E. and carries metal parts in SMILEHOOD, while the lobby version in this game is a different model again. Matching a face to a video is not how you recognise the monster — the death screen prints its name.

Lore numbers are not game numbers

Heights of roughly 13 feet for The Locust and 11 feet for The Guilt come from a fan wiki counting against in-game models, not from the developer. They are a good way to picture the creature and useless for judging whether it can reach you across a room.

Kill rules come from the HUD

What actually ends a run is on screen: contact kills, the objective counters, and the respawn countdown. No video, wiki or forum post overrides a counter you can read in the lobby before the round starts.

The exception

Cat in the hat is not on that list

One monster in the game is named in the official notes but has no Doctor Nowhere source, and this site does not guess one.

What the official list says

The 2026-10-13 Halloween update list reads “Cat in the hat” and “School map” as separate entries. A 2026-10-17 recording plays the School map, whose objective reads LOCKS 0/4 and GENERATORS 0/6, and the monster shown on that map is Cat in the hat. The map roster and counters are on the maps reference.

What is still unconfirmed

The Doctor Nowhere creature list read on 2026-10-24 runs to roughly a hundred entries and does not include a cat in a hat; the closest names are Black Hat Trench and Hat Man, which are not the same character. The name is also the title of a famous Dr. Seuss book. Whether this monster is licensed, an homage, or a placeholder name is not published anywhere checked here, so none of those is asserted on this site.

Watch order

If you want the source before your next round

Four entries, in the order that makes the lobby make sense. All four sit on Doctor Nowhere's own channel; the list was read on 2026-10-24.

STEP 01

[CONCEPT] TOE1 → TOE2 → TOE3

Watch in this order. The Locust is the creature behind all three, and the second entry is the one whose closing text ("the body appeared untouched") is quoted across fan pages.

STEP 02

SMILEHOOD - CONCEPTION

The Locust reappears in a different body design: metal parts on the arms, legs and chest instead of a plain black silhouette.

STEP 03

the boy and the bath

Short, and the only source for The Guilt. If the Guilt is what killed you in the Forest, this is the video the character comes from.

STEP 04

THE BOILED ONE PHENOMENON

The best-known entry on the channel and the source for the red-faced monster in the lobby list.

This site does not embed or rehost those videos. Titles are reproduced as published on the channel so you can find them; the channel itself is the authoritative copy.

FAQ

Questions about the Doctor Nowhere credit

Is The Locust's Manor based on Doctor Nowhere?

Yes. The official Roblox experience description states: "All characters are original creations of Doctor Nowhere" (re-read 2026-10-24). That is the creator's own attribution, made on the game's own listing rather than on a fan page.

Which monsters in The Locust's Manor come from Doctor Nowhere?

The lobby monster picker lists three: THE LOCUST, THE BOILED ONE and THE GUILT, all read from the create-lobby screen in a 2026-09-06 recording. Each of them also appears on Doctor Nowhere's own channel or on the community wiki that catalogues his creatures. The School map's monster, Cat in the hat, is a separate case covered below.

Is The Locust the same creature as in the videos?

The name and the credit are the same. The behaviour is not: the T.O.E. Locust in the source videos reaches out of a screen, while the in-game monster patrols rooms and corridors and kills on contact. Treat the videos as the origin of the design, not as a rulebook for the round.

Does Doctor Nowhere develop The Locust's Manor?

No. The Roblox listing attributes the experience to the group FunGames26 (owner briz_developer), and describes Doctor Nowhere as the creator of the characters. No public statement from either side about licensing was found on the checked surfaces, so that point is left unconfirmed here.

Why is there a Cat in the hat monster if all characters are Doctor Nowhere's?

The 2026-10-13 Halloween update list in the description names "Cat in the hat" and a School map, and the School map in a 2026-10-17 recording shows that monster. The name is also a well-known Dr. Seuss character and does not appear on the Doctor Nowhere creature list read on 2026-10-24, so this site does not attribute it to him and does not identify it as licensed.
